About Me
Kamilė Gineikaitė is a journalism student at Vilnius University. She always wanted to be a journalist. She thought that journalists can make changes in society, explain disadvantages of some rules made by the goverment and in this way achieve a better daily life.
Journalism was a part of Kamilė‘s life from her early school days. She volunteered to write articles about her class trips, school events, and applied for a multiple number of essay writing contests. Kamilė likes to exchange opinions with other people, and she hinks that tolerating different opinions is a very good trait for journalists. Before starting her studies at Vilnius University, Kamilė was a socially active pupil. She was a part of her school council, and she volunteered at Lithuania‘s school students union. Maybe that was the most interesting thing that happened to her yet, because she learned a lot of great skills like marketing, time planning and events organisation. Once she and her team organised an event for four hundred people, and it was not ordinary, because it never happened in her town before. Right now Kamilė is only starting her studies and hopefully in the future she will become a journalist, as she always wanted. |
